Returns Policy


Where a claim of defect or damage is made the Goods shall be returned by the Buyer to the Seller. The Buyer shall be entitled to a full refund including any return postal charges if the Goods are in fact defective. If you are a Consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the Contract and receive a refund by informing the Seller (emailing Emerald Isle Reptiles with an order enquiry) within 7 working days of receipt of the Goods.

Goods must be returned by the Buyer and we would advise that they be adequately insured during the return journey. The Buyer will receive a refund of all monies paid for the Goods if received by the Seller in good condition. However, if the Contract is cancelled after 7 working days, the Buyer will cover the cost of returning the Goods. Goods to be returned must clearly show the order number obtained from the Seller on the package. Where returned Goods are found to be damaged due to the Buyer’s fault the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage. Order cancellations received after 7 working days of the Consumer accepting the Goods are not entitled to a refund. The Seller may accept the Goods back with a re-stocking fee of 50% of the total order value (excluding delivery charges). All order cancellation requests must be placed by emailing Emerald Isle Reptiles with an order enquiry. Animals sold will be guaranteed as feeding, shedding and healthy.

Your order is also covered under our 7 day Live Guarantee. If your animal perishes within the first 7 days, we will provide ONE FREE REPLACEMENT, however the additional shipping costs are your responsibility. If we do not have a replacement animal in stock, the animal cost will be refunded, however, the shipping fees will not be refunded.

 

Shipping

All goods supplied within the UK & Ireland will normally be delivered within 10 working days of receipt of order. Goods supplied outside the UK and Ireland will normally be delivered within 21 working days of receipt of order. Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, and where this delivery date cannot be met, the Buyer will be notified and be given the opportunity to agree a new delivery date or receive a full refund. The Seller shall use its reasonable endeavours to meet any date agreed for delivery. Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Buyer’s address specified in the order and the Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. Title and risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer upon delivery of the Goods.
